Bottle-cap painting

Here’s another way to recycle apparently useless junk.

I must admit that, even though I’m very interested in recycling and the wholeenvironmental issue, using bottle caps to create beautiful art, never crossed my mind. That goes to show you that we can find solutions to our problems where we least expect it.

This “painting” was commissioned by the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), to celebrate Charleston’s master blacksmith, Phillip Simmons, who’s work can be found all over the Charleston peninsula.
